We believe in the transformative power of real estate investment to breathe new life into communities and foster economic opportunity. We embarked on a mission to convert neglected commercial and residential properties into extraordinary assets that champion health, safety, and vibrancy.

Our approach is deeply rooted in our commitment to community empowerment. We have close engagement with local stakeholders to gain insight into their needs and aspirations. We leverage our expertise in real estate development and finance to turn these aspirations into reality. We particularly emphasize high-quality design and construction that not only meet the practical needs of residents and businesses but also contribute to the overall aesthetic and livability of the community.

Our investments extend beyond property revitalization; they catalyze economic activity and job opportunities, creating a ripple effect of positive impact throughout the community. We aspire to foster a more equitable and sustainable future for all by strategically investing in the revitalization of disinvested neighborhoods.

Join us on this transformative journey, where each investment is a step towards building vibrant, resilient, and thriving communities.

We established a partnership with Edmondson Westside High School (EWHS), a trade school in West Baltimore where only 20% of students pursue higher education.

Recognizing the critical need for pathways to high-quality jobs, especially for underserved youth, we designed our Empowering Next Generations program to connect EWHS students with hands-on learning opportunities in the sustainable building and construction fields.

Our projects, which are spearheaded by industry leaders such as Gensler, Whiting Turner, and Quinn Evans, provide students with direct exposure to real-world, climate-friendly development projects. We are creating a clear pipeline from school to meaningful careers by embedding these students in active projects that focus on energy-efficient building practices and climate resilience. This initiative not only equips students with valuable technical skills but also provides them with access to mentorship and networking opportunities, laying the foundation for long-term career growth in green industries. The program's goal is to foster youth empowerment through economic mobility, equipping the next generation to thrive in a climate-conscious economy

“Ms. Nadine,

I cannot begin to thank you enough for the collaboration and overall effort you have given at educating our scholars about this industry we call construction.  The companies you bring into our vision, the time you give, the media representation to document the events, and the quality to make it all look like a the 1st class events they are. You all are an exceptional Program advisory members to our Carpentry Pathway here at EWHS.  Many of our students took time to journal their experiences.  I took some of the best ones I read and decided to send them to you Ms. Dlodlo, Ndidi, Tabitha Atkins, Nakita Reed, Quinn Evans, & Harkins to make you aware of the inspiration you give to our students! They are attached. Again, thank you for investing in future industry workers!”

Diving into the intricacies of her personal experiences, Nadine illuminated how her own challenging lived journey serves as a powerful catalyst for the impactful mission we uphold at Women’s Home Preservation. Listen to the podcast release as we uncover the stories and passion driving our commitment to making a lasting difference in communities.

WE ARE PROOF THAT GENTRIFICATION DOES NOT HAVE TO LEAVE ANYONE BEHIND

Our work transcends race, nationality, gender, age, education, etc.

Our coalition:

An immigrant Black woman, uniting around one common purpose with a White man from Mississippi, a Latina from the Bronx, community leaders and residents from Baltimore and different corners of the world, to build a beautiful neighborhood and to create pathways to financial security for ourselves and our neighbors.
