COMMUNITY STORYTELLER & VIDEOGRAPHER
Full Time
Job Summary:
The Women’s Home Preservation is seeking a passionate and talented individual to join our team as a Community Storyteller and Documentary Videographer. This role will be instrumental in capturing the essence of our mission to revitalize structurally disinvested communities through compelling storytelling and impactful visual storytelling. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, a knack for storytelling, and proficiency in videography techniques. We are a mission-driven real estate investment firm that rebuilds formerly redlined communities with a focus on promoting equity and beautiful housing for women. We are specially looking for an equity-minded individual who believes in wealth creation in minority communities. You will also support community outreach programs and manage the Women’s Home Preservation’s branding, marketing strategies, social media, website campaigns, and internal/external communications with the goal of growing the Women’s Home Preservation’s mission.
Company Profile:
The Women's Home Preservation, a mission-driven real estate investment firm, intersects real estate development, community revitalization, equitable decarbonization, and women's housing rights. We economically rejuvenate underserved communities by redeveloping underutilized properties in alignment with community vision. This approach emphasizes clean energy, women's housing rights and fosters spatial justice through cultural representation.
Our approach is to restore the social and cultural rather than the built environment only. For this reason, we co-create with the community. Working hand in hand with a community, we bring about projects of scale and significance to force a paradigm shift in one’s view of a community. Where one would expect another small rehab, we bring on the power of our high-caliber partners to execute on our bold and transformative visions. Concurrently with the built activities, we work with the community to develop the cultural, political, and socioeconomic dimensions of our projects.
