IMPACT REAL ESTATE FUND MANAGER
Job Summary:
The Women’s Home Preservation is seeking an investment banking professional/private equity who is passionate about making an impact in underinvested communities. You will join our team as an Impact Real Estate Fund Manager. This role will give you the opportunity to redefine the meaning of gentrification to one that is all inclusive, respectful of legacy residents, and accessible to a diverse demography of income, race, nationality and more.
In this role, you will play a crucial part in setting up and managing an impact-focused real estate fund that will enable us to raise capital from socially conscious investors to expand the reach of our work and create edifying yet accessible housing in underinvested communities. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a more equitable society where gentrification does not mean displacement.
Company Profile:
Founded in 2019, the Women's Home Preservation is a mission-driven real estate development firm committed to revitalizing structurally disinvested communities. By acquiring vacant properties that contribute to blight, we transform them into mixed-use commercial and residential developments that have a profound positive impact on our communities.
In our commercial rehabilitations, we strategically address the amenity gaps within the community. By introducing essential businesses like cafes, hardware stores, art galleries, and more, we enhance the overall quality of life and foster economic growth. Simultaneously, our residential rehabilitations exemplify our commitment to high-end, energy-efficient, and resilient homes. Through these transformations, we profoundly improve the health and well-being of our communities.
We leverage the expertise of our esteemed partners, including Gensler, Whiting-Turner, RK&K, RCM&D, Wells Fargo, and more, to execute bold and transformative visions and ensure that our projects have scale and significance, challenging conventional perceptions of what a community can achieve
At Women's Home Preservation, our approach extends beyond the physical restoration of buildings. In addition to our built activities, we place equal importance on developing the cultural, political, and socioeconomic dimensions of our projects. By working hand in hand with the community, we foster a holistic transformation that goes beyond physical spaces.
